Part One: The Darkening

Day 1

Today I decided to start writing a diary, so if nothing works out, someone can one day read about it all. It has now been three days since the Changelings have taken control over Canterlot. Nopony was ready, we were attacked by surprise the second time. They are taking away ponies on streets to an unknown location. We do not know where princesses Celestia and Luna are. No one knows where Shining Armor is either. Right now I am hiding in one of the Canterlot towers with Fluttershy, Rarity, Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Cadance and some other wounded ponies that Fluttershy and Rarity are taking care of. Rainbow Dash and Applejack are fighting off any possible Changelings that try to enter the tower. Nights are sleepless with the base of the tower constantly shaking from incoming attacks. I am not sure how much longer we can last.

Day 2

Earlier today, Twilight visited one of the Canterlot's libraries in search of more information about Changelings. Fortunately, she can teleport in multiple jumps, avoiding any danger. She told everypony that she might have found the solution to defeating or at least somehow solving our problem. She asked some ponies to go with her to the library to help her find more information. Pinkie Pie and I volunteered to help. I am not sure what will we find there, but we shall see...

Day 3

We have spent all night searching the library. We found some information that Changelings might have had a great tragedy or something in their past which made them forget about loving each other. Apparently, the event was called "The Darkening" and it completely changed their culture. Twilight, Pinkie and I consulted and figured out that if we can somehow remind them of their past, we might be able to put a stop to their destruction. We might need Cadance's help on this. Yes, this is the solution! Things are not over yet though. Twilight got a telepathic message from Rarity saying that the tower is finally being fully attacked. We must go back there quickly.

Day 4

This day has been an aboslute hell. Earlier Twilight, Pinkie and I had to rush back to the tower. It was already shaking from the Changelings destroying its base. Twilight suggested we open a large teleport conduit for transporting everypony out to a new location. We chose another, even higher tower and opened the portal. Everypony moved to the new location quickly and as we arrived to the new tower, we watched the old one collapse from Changeling's attacks. We are safe... for now...
