Having trouble finding Lovejoy in the image? Use this: i.imgur.com/HJJJ2ex.jpg
I re-visited Jankovac on Papuk mountain, and decided to take images of the starry sky. I wanted to take images of the Andromeda Galaxy, but for some reason, i completely forgot that the comet Lovejoy is still visible in the sky. That said, I accidentally captured it together with Andromeda Galaxy and Milky Way.

Light Pollution: Minimal, top of a mountain outside of civilisation.
Software used: DeepSkyStacker, Photoshop CS5
Notes: The photos ended up quite blurry, no matter how much I tried to focus the lens. For some reason, I was unable to find the exact focus point. The lens also seem to have an issue of highly blurring towards the edge of the frame. The final image was heavily cropped to minimize issues.

"Lovejoy", such a wonderful name! :)
Great shots! ...Such moments of appreciation of the Night sky are always so blissful, and even more emotional when they're combined with music or inner contemplation... Well, for me they are at least ^^
I shall share a track I found recently, that is very fitting both musically and in its concept (also very fitting to post here, you'll see why if you take a look at the description) : www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKRA7_…
I'll never say it enough, Long Live the Night!
